Thank you for choosing Joyful Entertainment. We are excited to be a part of your special event. Please take a moment to review our service agreement.
The cost for your party includes all supplies and smiles. The artist WILL STOP WORKING at the scheduled time. If the artist does not have another event to attend and additional hours are requested, it is expected that payment be made in cash at the same rate on the day of the event.
Payment: A $40.00 deposit is required to book the event and is not refundable should Client for any reason cancel or postpone. The event is considered booked only when we receive the deposit. The balance of must be paid in CASH to the artist upon arrival or by Approved Company Check to Joyful Entertainment before the event date.
Cancellation: If the event is cancelled within 2 days of start time, payment is due in full. Client agrees to pay full amount even when Client uses artist for less time than booked.
Liability: Artist is not liable for allergic reactions to paint. It is the parent’s responsibility to notify the artist if their child has sensitive skin. We only use water-based, non-toxic FDA approved face paints. Easy-on & easy-off with wet wipes or mild soap and water. Artist will not paint anyone who appears to be sick or does not want to be painted. Artist will use reasonable care but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property.
Shelter: Artist will have no problem working outdoors under proper weather conditions.
Adverse Working Conditions: The artist has the right to cease entertainment and leave without refunding any monies if there are extreme adverse working conditions. Adverse conditions include but are not limited to: destructive, violent, or inappropriate behavior of a child or adult; illegal activities; dangerous conditions.
The Client is responsible for parking fees and will provide a close parking space. Should the artist get sick, every effort will be made to find a replacement or the deposit will be refunded.
The artist is NOT responsible for crowd control or childcare. The behavior and safety of children is the Parents’ responsibility.
